Contested Divorce Long Island: What Happens After the Trial?

Once all evidence has been presented to the Court, the Court may seek various post-trial submissions from the attorneys. That may take several months. Once all evidence has been presented, and all post trial submissions have been submitted, the Court will consider all the evidence and render a decision. That may take months. It may take longer than months. Judges take their work and their responsibilities seriously. They will only render a decision once they have fully considered the evidence and the relevant law.
