Divorce mediation is a process through which the divorcing couple comes to an agreement themselves. It replaces the "have-your-lawyer-call-my- lawyer" or the trial before a judge approaches of the traditional divorce. The legal papers are then prepared, the divorce is processed as it would be in any case, and a judge then grants a legal divorce. |
