Fred Klarer, Esq. is an attorney with over twenty-five years of experience in the negotiation and completion of complex economic transactions, both in the business world and in matrimonial disputes. Fred has a full-time divorce practice, split equally between contested divorce and mediated divorce. Fred is a trained and experienced mediator and brings the experience of the Courtroom to the resolution of the issues of separation and divorce, including custody, child support, visitation, property distribution, and the whole range of issues that must be resolved. It was the experience of litigated divorce that convinced Fred that there must be a better way to resolve the issue of divorce than the blunt methods of the Courtroom and that led to the founding of the Center for Divorce Mediation in 1995. Fred is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School and is a member of the New York State Bar. Diane Kramer, Ph.D. is a a psychologist and experienced Family Therapist with over twenty-five years of experience in resolving the communication problems that block couples from dealing with each other effectively. Diane's practice focuses on helping you to identify what is really important, in dealing with the anger and the hurt and getting beyond that to be able to find the most effective long-term realistic solutions, and to working with you to rapidly reach a settlement that works for you. Diane is also a Master Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming, a set of technologies that allow for rapid change and development, that enable you to move quickly but effectively through the divorce process and into the next phase of your life. Diane is holds a Ph.D. from New York University and is a Licensed Psychologist by the State of New York. Fred and Diane and also married to each other and work together because they like it and find it effective in advancing their goals and those of others. |
