About Us
Fred Klarer, J.D.: I am a former Buddhist monk, a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and practiced law for 25 years, including the negotiation of business transactions, divorce and family law litigation, and divorce mediation. I also am trained in the Extraordinary Self Coaching Program and am a Master Practitioner of NLP. I no longer practice law and have focused now solely on mediation, consulting, and coaching. I seek to solve problems, not to cause them.
It is my goal to offer people faced with divorce a way out of the suffering and pain that is caused by the pointless fight over the inevitable. Let me help you create a future and get on with your life.
I am fortunate enough to be married to Diane Kramer.
Diane Kramer, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist, a professor of Psychology, an experienced coach and therapist, and the creator of the Extraordinary Self series of self-realization programs that enable its graduates to overcome internal obstacles to become who they truly want to be. As a coach in Long Island divorce mediation, Diane enables couples to deal with the emotional issues that may block a settlement, to realize what is truly in the best interest of them and their children, and to move forward past any obstacles that keep them from making a deal.
